Sony eBook reader issues on Transformer..

Finally got Transformer, happy owner..
I have Sony eBook reader too, and have small book library (bought from Sony eBook Store).

One of the first thing I did on Transformer was to download Sony eBook Reader Application. The App is great in look and feel but useless in usage. Its not showing last 2 lines of every alternate page (and may be all pages, I tried opening 2 books only).

In my opinion, the app is created for phone. Correct me if I am wrong, Android phones has few hard buttons. But Tab/Honeycomb replaced those with soft one by creating a black strip at the lower part. Seems like, Sony eReader application opens the whole page considering that black strip on screen as usable screen for eReader app. That way, last 1-2 lines are invisible.

This particular situation is making my all the books/literature worthless/useless on this great Tab.

Question to the veterans here (here, first time Android and Tablet user.. used WinTel machines and BlacBerry phone along with Sony eBook reader till now),

1) Any one else also facing this issue.
2) Can I make lower menu/control button strip invisible (just like Windows feature).
3) Any changes in eBook reader app, which can help here...

Or, Can I read Sony eBook with other eBook Reader App..

You probably can read them in another reader. Assuming they do not have DRM protection, a program like FBReader (for Android) can read various formats and Calibri can convert e-book formats.
