Sony xperia Z1 keeps knocking off

Hi all

My dads xperia Z1 was working perfectly up until the other day. Now its started randomly turning off maybe twice, three times a day and the only way to get it back on is to do a hard reset (hold power and volume up) tried as many things as i could think off the next option is sending it back to sony could anyone help?

Ever dropped or got wet. ?? Age. ?? Battery good. ?? Check settings, power off, developer options, free space, # background apps allowed. Get helper apps CM Clean, AVG free, from Google Playstore.

Thanks but done all that the phone has never been dropped and never been near any water even though it is waterproof. Hasnt got a mark on it really looks goods as new guess the next step is to send it back

Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-12507

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.
