Sony Xperia Z3 headphone issue

I have only purchased a z3 today and I tried out my sennheiser urbanite headphones on them and they worked great. Then I plugged in my pc headset later on and they worked too. I have come back to my urbanites before I go to sleep and they are not being recognised. The headphones are working on my computer. So I tried another set of headphones on my phone and they worked fine. Does anyone know what's happening?

Something went wrong in the phone - there are a few different things it could be. However, the phone is one day old, so have it replaced.
