I went and bought a 32gb card today to replace my 16gb. Is there anything special I need to do? I don't want to lose any info that is currently on my 16 so I figured I would make sure with you guys before I came in here screaming for help ;)
Thanks!

Back up your 16gb card to your computer, then install your 32gb card in your phone. Put the phone in USB storage mode if it has it, it's faster than PC Mode, and transfer the contents of your 16gb backup to your new card.

Enjoy.

Just that simple huh? Thats what I was hoping! I wasnt sure if I was supposed to copy EVERYTHING on/off the 16 or not....I figured there would be some factory files on there or something that would take care of themselves and maybe cause problems if they were already copied or not copied....Just wanted to make sure!
Thanks!

Well, when you first install the 32gb card, the phone will put some files and folders on the card automatically. Whether you choose to overwrite them or not with the backed up files/folders is up to you.

I also bought the 32gb card, I got mine from Verizon and it came with a usb key chain so now I have a 16gb flash drive and never have to worry bout running out of memory!

Sent from my DROIDX

Back that sucker up now and then. My 32GB card totally whacked out on me and I lost everything on it. Of course, I hadn't made a single backup of it. Sandisk was awesome throughout the RMA process though.
