Sooooo Have You Dropped It Yet?

Its been about two weeks since the release of Epic Touch and everyone hasn't had time to get a case. I personally prefer no screen protector or case... Yea and I dropped her the other day, thankfully it was only a couple inches to thin carpet. Lucky no scrapes or scratches YET at least!!! How about you all?

Yes...tonight. I nearly had a heart attack. It was in my hoodie pocket, I sat in the car and heard something fall between the seat and the door...

It's okay, TG. No case here, yet.

Put screen protector and case on before I took it home. I feel much better even though naked looks SO NICE

We are still naked over here!...no drops at all yet...the bigness of this phone actually makes it easier to hold on to compared to my old palm pre which i use to drop on an almost daily basis...

Does anyone else hold this phone a lot? I find that I really only use one of my two hands since buying this phone. The other is holding this phone away from all sharp edges, objects, nicks and scratches.

Then, of course, it falls out of my pocket and hits the car door...but ya know, it was bound to happen.

I think it's still scratch-free, but am afraid to look too closely...

lol Dropped mine in the supermarket fell out of my pocket. the back opened and battery popped out. So about a 4 foot drop and 2 foot slide screen down. OMG luckily nothing happened and i was like thank you gorilla glass. a little nip on the corner but nothing noticeable. I'm getting cases in a few days. ill be happy then. No screen protector though. Had it on my First Epic and took it off after awhile .

So.... I was at work playing with the phone on charge and because the charging cord that comes with is so short ort I use the original epic's micro usb wire. Because of the length of the wire and the strength on the connection between the usb and micro usb port in the phone, not like the original epic, I somehow got tangled up in the wire and jerked the phone from my hand. PANIC!!! I catch and lose it once, twice, three times! Finally gripping the wire as the phones drops, suspended inches from the floor like something out of MISSION POSSIBLE, it disconnects and drops. Whew!


Think I need a case?

Dropped mine the other day (bad arthritis in my thumbs) from about 3' onto a ceramic floor in the kitchen.
Was wearing a TPU skin and no marks or issues noted.

Was watching youtube in the car and was holding it with a thumb and finger sideways. Idk which got tired but one of them just gave out and it fell from about rearview mirror height, hit the middle and then fell inbetween the seat. It's still fine though thank God lol I'm holding out for an otterbox. However, if the iphone 5 gets an otterbox before we do....(╮?-?)╮┳━┳ ( ╯?□?)╯ ┻━┻ *flips table*

It seems like the more you try not to drop it, you'll end up dropping it.

No drops yet, but I found the naked E4GT to be really slippery. The back of the case was nice, but the plain plastic edges seemed really slick. Add to the that the extremely light weight, and I always felt that it was about to slip out of my hands. Got a TPU case for it and it feels MUCH better for me.

I would always recommend some sort of protection for touchscreen phones. Especially high end ones.

dropped it the other day trying to pick it up while ringing. Fumbled that sucker, caught it, fumbled it again.. ended up with a cushioned one foot fall. Still freaked me out a bit but with the TPU case and the gorilla glass it came up without a scratch.

Just a nick on the corner, but I am definitely considering a case... I'll likely miss the naked look, but there's no way I want that feeling again! Battery door popped off and battery popped out, but no harm no foul otherwise...

Nope I haven't dropped yet but before I left the sprint store I made sure I purchased a case and screen protector. Can't afford to pay any additional money on a deductible

Ugghhh, I did the exact same thing with my Palm Pre. Terrible feeling!

Dropped mine 3 days after i bought it but the spint cover with the kick stand saved it!
