Sould I stay or should I go? Galaxy Tab S 8.4 vs Nexus 9?

I presently have a Nexus 6 and Galaxy Tab S.

I love the freedom of the Nexus device (Nexus 6). Not so much for the Galaxy Tab S.

Question: I can buy locally the Nexus 9 for around $150.Is the 9 still worth that? Are you 9 users happy with your tablet?

Please give me your thoughts and suggestions.

I plan to trade the Tabs S for a Nexus 9 if possible.

At that price, jump on it. You won't find a comparable tablet in that price range, assuming that the N9 is in good shape cosmetically and functionally. The N9 will be updated to Android N down the road, which probably won't happen for the Tab S. I really like the 4:3 form factor. It is so much easier to read in portrait than a 16:9 form factor.

I bought the Nexus 9. Arrived today. Hot Damn, a new toy to play with.

Passing the tab s to daughter, used nexus 9 on way, had a faulty previously, returned, missed.
