Sound Notification for Incoming Email

Sound notification comes up when incoming email arriving. It won't sound again when another comes in unless you clear the info in the notification area.
Is there a way to make the sound up for every incoming email?

I'm assuming this is for Gmail?
If so, go into the Gmail app, then go to Settings > (Your email address) > Inbox sound & vibrate and tick Notify for every message.
