Sound settings (ringer/notifications)

I searched but could not find this topic, but I'm sure i just missed it.

On ICS, I had seperate options to set the volume for the ringer and the notifications. I could mute the notifications, but keep the ringer volume up. Since the upgrade to JB, that is all one setting. They are either both muted or both have the volume up. Is there something I am missing that allows me to adjust the volume independantly of each toher?

so you are looking in android settings and then looking in sound and the under ringtone and notifications. there are in fact separate settings
