Sound Troubles

Anyone else find the sound volume remarkably inadequate on the Nexus 7? I need to be in a silent room to be able to hear the sound on anything. No, there's no case covering up the speaker and yes, I the volume control is up. Wonder if this is why Amazon is making a bug deal out of the sound capabilities of the new Fire HD?

Yea I know exactly what you are talking about. But be don't install any audio volume enhancer apps. I did and while they worked, I paid a price for it as I blew my speakers...but rather than send my N7 back and be without it, I decided to wait for replacement speakers to become available, and I'll replace them myself.....In the meantime, I'll use my Bluetooth speakers if I need to listen to audio.
