sound when dialing

Is there any way with a non-rooted phone to disable the sound when using the phone keypad? All other sounds are disabled when pressing the screen.

Are you meaning the to silence the numberpad when dialing a number ? If so try :

MENU button>settings>sounds&display>Audible touch tones>tick quiet box.
