Soundhound update in google play but not shown in apps?

I received an update request for soundhound BUT after it updated I can open it but whenever I try to look for it in my app section, I don't see it anywhere? I tried searching for it yet still don't see it anywhere. What gives? Thanks

It's because it's part of the Music app.

Here's how to hack a shortcut to launch Soundhound.

Download a free app "QuickShortcutMaker" from Google Play.

Launch and search for "sound".

Scroll down to the item ending in ".view.SoundHound". Select it and create the shortcut.

I used the soundhound widget which i think is called ID Now.

I try to avoid downloading unnecessary apps so if you don't want to get away with the above fix then ya can always just use that widget..
