Odd thing I noticed last week.
None of my audible notifications/ringers were working or were the correct tones. I first go into Setting->sounds, and find that my phone ringer setting was "lost", as in nothing selected. then I checked "notifications", and nothing checked there either. Still wasnt getting any audible tones for SMS/MMS text messages, so went into settings there, and no sound notifications were set there either. Then went and looked at GMAIL Notifier, and for the one email account I have that I have a tone set for, it too was not selected.
Its like the settings for all of those tones were somehow been wiped out. I reset them all now back to what I originally had, and all is working again.
I am rooted, but otherwise stock. I did get one spontaneous reboot(first time, and only time so far) around that time. I guess that could have caused a filesystem error, and wiped some "stuff" out.
