Isn't there a way to forward them to someone? I got a text from 3609699197
THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT: Your CARD has be DEACTIVATED. Please call 817-231-0946

I don't have any credit union cards, and the only card I do use will send me a text directly if there's an issue, and it's from a known number with much different info. I tried google on the numbers both from and the call back number and go nowhere. I won't be calling the number, but would like to forward it to whatever types there are that go after this stuff.

You could either call that credit union and have the texts stopped or I know you can block calls through Verizons site, not sure about texts.

Verizon wants you to report text spam
Forward the SMS Spam message to 7726 (S P A M) and expect an autoreply from verizon in which you will enter the offender's (apparent) phone number.

I have seen these too! Not the same number but its the same idea. I ended up just reporting it to my carrier and bank. My bank (Local credit union) added a notice to their website! I hate these sorta things. I know I am not dumb enough to fall for them but its the older folk that I worry about. Even though we know they wont be caught I still hope hey find em!

Thanks. I thought I remembered something like this. That's what I was looking for.
