spare battery or extended battery

Do any of you Mesmerize users use a spare battery or an extended battery? I was just wondering if anyone had, and if they would be willing to pass along their recommendation. I'm going back and forth between just buying a spare battery to carry with me or buying the Seidio extended 3000mAh battery.

It worries me that the extended battery is not specifically for the Mesmerize, only the Fascinate. I understand the hardware between the two is the same, but I don't know if that would cause any issues for me.

Any recommendations you would share is very appreciated!

I went with the seidio and love it. It does add bulk so be ok with that for me it made the feel better. I like the fact the back cover is not being taken off daily since they seem week.

does the Seidio fit with the same back cover? Or do you have to get another back cover. I kinda like having my otterbox... lol

They make one that fits the stock back but I think its only 1600ma. I went with the 3000ma and it adds size from the speaker to almost the top of the phone and almost doubles the size in that aria. The new cover dips back in around the camera and has not effected taking pics.
