Speaker function for voice message apps?

I am debating on taking back the s2 I have for the 3g model, but have a question. Can any of you that have one tell me if you can hear messages from the watch sent from voxer? I'm assuming that voice messages from messenger or whatsapp can't be heard since there is no app...it would be awesome if you could.

Any help answering would be appreciated.

I'd be curious to know this as well. I currently have the Gear 2 Neo and while you can make and receive phone calls, there is no voicemail app to listen to voicemails. You have to use your phone.

Listening to voice-mail from the watch would be nice, but I mean voice messages from voxer, whatsapp, messenger...

I believe the Bluetooth versions of the S2 (ie the non 3G versions) don't have speakers, which makes it impossible to hear anything from them, take calls, etc.

Unless you pair a headset with them, but even then they can't take calls, unlike the previous Gear 2 models, which could make and take calls no problem.

I have to say I'm baffled as to why the newer, pricier models have fewer features...
