Speaker issues

Anyone having a problem with low sound when taking calls? When it's on speaker and when it's on my ear it's hard to hear.
I thought it was me but I tried an S5 this week and the difference was substantial. Is it just my phone?!
Any settings I can change?

It's not happened to me for a while, but it has been covered before. I wouldn't like to guess what the cause it, but I'm hoping its software and can be sorted by an update.
