Speaker phone sound

I am told that when I use the speaker phone I sound like I'm in a barrel. How to correct? Thanks

I am told that I sound better on my S6 speaker than any other recent phone I've had including my iPhone 6+. When I talk using the speaker I always am careful to not be to far away from the phone. I think a lot of people make the mistake of thinking , hey, it's a speaker phone, it's meant to pick up from a bit of distance away. I usually talk in a normal tone about a foot or two away. This allows me to put it in my shirt pocket and walk and talk at the same time while I'm doing other things. People I talk to can't even tell I'm using the speaker. There are some limitations to these little speakers that a regular desk style phone doesn't have. So maybe check how your using it. I dunno, just my 2 pennies.
