Rogers Galaxy S8 Speaker phone

I had my first Samsung s8+ last May 1st, I phoned my carrier regarding speaker phone issues. Everytime I make a calls using speaker phone after 2mins call the phone will be transferred on the earpiece.You have to press again the speaker botton, after a few minutes you cannot be heard anymore. Both ways you cannot hear them they cannot hear you. Everytime I charged my phone all my settings went back to default settings . My carrier decided to send me a new device as they said that its a software issue. After a week the new device was shipped same issues and more. Phone started to get HOT even not in use not even charging. When I make calls its echoeing. For the 3rd time they sent me again a new device. Hopefully no more issues. Just sharing my experience.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen in Safe Mode? It's possible that you routinely install an app that is causing these issues. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-34283

thank you for quick response. Unfortunately its happening again on the 3rd phone. I set my bluetooth to my car after few minutes of playing the music, the sounds started to get low until the music was totally gone. You can hear the music thru the earpiece same thing when I was on facebook video. Voice was clear for the first time and then gone. I need help!

Oh I forgot to mention I tried playing youtube and its the same thing. You can hear the music on the earpiece not on the speaker

Ok, but you didn't mention yet if you tried Safe Mode.

Thank you .Yes I did but still acting up sometimes.Now another issue again but this time wi fi dropping. Keeps saying no connection when my data was on. Having hard time to connect, never had this issue on my previous phone. Touch screen glitching. I like the phone because of the camera specs and extended memory. But having this so many issues was really fraustrating. Am glad that my service provider was very accomodating. They will send me my 4th phone soon...

Hmm, bad luck! Well, hopefully the 4th phone works as it should. When you get it, I suggest holding off on installing your usual apps, and just use it out of the box for a few days to see if the problems arise.

have you installed any apps that use the volume? It has to be an app or a setting
