Speaker stop working

Any idea what caused this? Defective unit?

if it stopped for everything, settings sounds doesn't show anything, probably drew the short straw

After performing factory reset didn't resolved the problems. Took to AT&T store and confirmed (DOA). They will replace it today because of the release date 3/11. I have to make another trip tomorrow they have reserved one for me to swap. ******* sucks!!

good news is you didn't spend 6 weeks or anything tweaking the phone in every way to your liking.
best to you with the replacement, way too early for refurbs too i would think.

I have the same probleme. Sometime Speakers and mic stop working. I need to reboot my S7

Yup, that's how I see it. **** happens.

I factory reset it and its not the software problem. Its actually hardware. This happened during setting up ZEDGE Ringtones for my contacts. It just stopped playing any song.

Mine is a bit different, prob software (I hope). Randomly happens, Vibrator + Sound (MP3, Notification, Ringtone...) + microphone, stop working. Its more powerful than a "Do not disturb" lol
Alarm and timer are silenced too :s

I'll try reset in few hours
