Speakerphone quality..

Has anyone had any feedback on the quality of their voice when using speakerphone? With the S8+ I had an issue with folks telling me my voice sounded muffled or underwater at times. The S9+ is proving to have the same issue for me... I've removed the case and done a factory reset.

I've overcome the camera concerns I've had with a third party camera app. Now I have been made aware of the speakerphone quality. Thanks for your feedback

no complaints so far but i rarely use speakerphone. but i have read somewhere that usually water resistant phones have this issue because of the membrane they have in front of the microphones that stops the water from going inside.
btw what camera app are you using?

The Google camera app. Works great.. only problem is I don't get the double tap power button to quick launch camera. And also some other shortcut to the camera link to the factory version instead. No big deal.

Yes I was totally thinking that the waterproofing had something to do with it because it was the case with the S8 and S8 plus as well for my girlfriend and I. I seldom use speakerphone myself. I was just a little pissed off to notice when I was speaking with my mother she's telling me she cannot hear me. As soon as I switch speakerphone off every time she can hear me crystal clear. The speakerphone issue is only intermittent. I called customer care to make a complaint and they complained that they could not hear me half of the time. I told them it was because of their phone.

For me, zero issues from those I'm talking to. With my Note 8 there were issues on both ends.
