Spilled alcohol on Samsung s4 3 days ago, any chance of survival?

AC Question

Hey, so I was at a festival 3 days ago, and spilled a bottle of captain morgan over my phone. Then I (stupidly) left the phone on because it seemed to be working fine. A few hours later it cut out completely. I tried to turn it on a couple of times but it just vibrated, didn't light up. I left it in rice for 2 days, tried charging it this morning, just got the one vibration again.

My question is, is there anything I can do with it now or do I give up? Is it too late to submerge it in alcohol or take it to a phone shop?

When a device comes on contact with liquids and is not taken care of at that moment, the more difficult it is to resuscitate later on.

Take the battery, SIM card and SD card out. Put the phone in rice or silica for 5 days.

After that put everything back in and turn it on.

Let us know if it works. Good luck!
