spilled milk on samsung s4

i need help, i had my phone in backpack and some how a milk carton busted open and onto my phone i dont know how long the milk was busted but now my phone can turn on but it clicks stuff by itsself, i had to wait a few hours to put it in rice but i need help on what to do. no i dont have insurance and if i cant use it then what am i suppose to do>

do not turn on your phone
take out the battery, sim, memory card
keep it inside a sack of rice overnight.
