So my "certified like new" intuition arrived yesterday (after the tragic update killed my intuition). New device has the 4.04 update on it, but its the 10B version.... Not the 11B described on the Verizon intuition page talking about the update. I've noticed nothing new with this update other than the battery is draining much faster and its taking quite a bit longer to take a full charge. Does anyone know what the "split" email is that we were supposed to get with this update??

Hmmm maybe my replacement phone doesn't have the update on it. It says version 4.04 but there isn't anyof the updated features on it.

Usually replacement s are not updated and are sent with an older firmware on it usually the same software when the phone came out. I'd avoid updating your phone for now though as the new update is not working right

I don't think I ever received the update and my phone is running version 4.0.4. I hope you have better luck with your new phone. I think you may be the only person who is more addicted to this phone than I am. You must have been 50% heart-broken and 50% furious when this happened.

Yes! It did upset me! I hate the idea that my perfect device was messed up and I had to accept a used device in return. I'm still not happy about that. To make matters worse, I slapped the return label Verizon sent on my device and shipped it off to fed ex last wed. I'm now getting threatening texts from Verizon saying I had better return it or I will be charged full price!! Today will be 5 business days. Still no sign of it being processed via Verizon. Of course I can't find my fed ex receipt....gggrrrr.

hey guys Im new here. I bought my intuition off of craigslist about
a
month ago. Love the phone. I came from a Gnex( have been
putting roms
on my phone since I had the HTC eris) than switched to an Ipad
mini
with just data making talkatone calls and viber. It was great, just
the ipad mini was just too big to carry everywhere. I kept my data
only plan for my intuiton and so far it is working out great!

I was able to recieve the update(for the intuition) without any
problems. I have the option to use the split email view but it is
grey'd out and I am not able to select it. The ram usage has gone
down
about 100megs during daily use. Other than that I have not
noticed any
big changes. I have gone and disabled a lot of apps in the app
manager
to help the phone run.

I am running Apex launcher and it is working great. If the
bootloader
was unlocked and we had some developers it would be an
amazing device.
That will never happen so I am crossing my fingers the Optimus
Vu gets
jelly bean soon so our intuition's can hold on to some hope of
getting
it maybe quarter 3 of 2013.

In case anyone was looking for a case for this big phablet. The lg
optimus vu has a ringke slim case which is the same phone as
the
intuition. I bought it for $7 on amazon it fits perfect and adds very little to the back of the phone.

The factory rom is vs95010b the update was vs95011b. they are both 4.0.4 roms. verizon scraped the 11b for now and will be doing a convergence update for the phones later. Its funny because verizon ask the manufacturer for the rom and then they take months to aprove it to meet quality assurance. They get the roms many months in advance to test it and give it the ok on their network for deployment. You would think that verizon having the rom for months in house for testing this would not happen..

oh by the way does anyone have the zip update file from when they sent the update
