Split screen/ multi window

Does anyone know what setting i go under to stop the apps that I open from my edge panel from going directly into split screen/ multi window? I didn't have this issue before the Sept. update. I went under advance settings and everything for multi window is off. I also went under Labs and the multi window for all apps is off . It's only happening when I choose apps from the edge panel.

Are all the apps on edge panel split screen like you see 2 apps in one ? Can u post screenshot how it's set-up?

On my edge panel I have some apps grouped together in one folder and some apps by themselves . I opened up two single apps and it still does it.

Sounds like a glitch, have you tried removing the single apps and adding back? You use good Lock?

No i having tried removing them. I'll try that. Yes I use good lock.

I figured it out after I removed the apps . I had the tap option selected for going into split screen. I should have had the touch and hold option selected. Thanks for the help.
