Split screen view

Since the update to the new OS I am now unable to multi task and use the split screen. Is there something I am missing?

When attempting to do split screen it puts my current screen on the top half of the screen and then gives me options on which app I want on the bottom. When I select an app it goes full screen and kicks out what I had open originally.

What changed? I love how it was before the update.

Any ideas?

I just tested, and split screen works on my unlocked N20U on VZW

No issue with split screen on UI 3.0 on ATT Locked.
