Spoofing and denying permissions

So I've been reading on Cyanogen is now including the ability to grant or revoke permissions, I think by essentially spoofing the ability. Any way we can see this functionality come to some of the roms here built on 2.2 ?

I believe there's a app that does this called "permissions denied".

yeah has mixed reviews, but Ill try it out thanks

edit: Just tried it out, and didn't seem to work. None of the permissions I changed were there when I rebooted.

I had the same issue until I figured out that you need to use the app's reboot function. After you set the permissions, press menu and select reboot. They all stuck for me after doing that.

@mmarz - strange every time I press reboot from the app .. nothing happens. Anyways thanks for the tip. Ill try it out again later.
