Spotify & lock screen

I can't get Spotify to show up on the lock screen although I have turned on lock screen notifications in the settings menu. Spotify appears in the drop-down notifications, but not on the lock screen, which is really annoying since I have to unlock my device in order to pause or skip a track. Not really great while driving etc. Does anyone know a solution?

Go to the Settings, Power saving (in the second Group), scroll up from the bottom part of the screen to see all the alternatives. Deselect the option Screen Saver to save Power. Then select Protected apps and make sure Spotify is protected by moving the slider to the right.
I have to translate from my native language so the wording of the alternatives may not be exact, sorry for this!

I use Spotify for hours every day and I have never felt the need to use my phone to pause, skip track or adjust volume. All this is easily done with the buttons of the headset (any headset) or the controls of the cars controls without touching the phone.
Now if I enable the lockscreen I see that there is nothing from Spotify on my lockscreen either.

I contacted Huawei in my home country, and it is indeed not possible to control spotify from the lock screen at the moment without installing another lock screen like Next lock screen, but Huawei said that they hope this will be dealt with in a future update.
