Well, I finally did the plunge and rooted my phone and then install the 2.1 option 3 leak and the superuser/market fix and all I have to say that thank you guys for all the help doing it by having insightful help with each step.
It feels like I went to the sprint store and picked up a new phone. I have had no problems with the phone at all.
