This thread kind of ties into a fellow member who posted about a job change moving to western Nebraska and there is no Sprint service for 30 miles around. I too am looking to change jobs however I would be moving to eastern Nebraska. More specifically, Lincoln, or outside Omaha. I noticed on the Sprint coverage maps there is no 4G LTE service anywhere in the state. When I visited there in 2010 and 2011 there was indeed sprint 3G service in the city limits of Lincoln and for maybe 20 miles in any direction, but that was it.
Are there any plans for 4G LTE to come to Lincoln and Omaha? I just signed a new 2 year contract this past February when I got my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and would like to keep using the unlimited data I do have.
I know Verizon is probably the largest carrier in the state of Nebraska (along with regional carriers) but I was curious about possible Sprint upgrades out there??
