Sprint and Google Voice Integration Question?

I know Sprint and Google Voice have a unique partnership, compared to the other carriers.
Just wondering if anyone else has full Google Voice integration and is using it?

I tried it and decided to switch back and turn off the integration. I don't really see the advantages,

With Sprint integration, Google Voice is turned on by default for all calls. However, after logging into my Sprint account, my Sprint number was still the same.

I can use the regular Google Voice app to use GV for all calls anyway, which is what I am doing now.

The biggest advantage of using GV integration is the ability to text from any text app and use your Google Voice number. However, it isn't an advantage for me, since I've grown accustomed to texting from the Google Voice app anyway.

Plus, if I didn't want to use the Google Voice app, I would just use Hangouts and can already do this.

Maybe I am missing something? Does anyone else on Sprint have their GV # fully integrated?

Welcome to Android Central!

I tried it out when I had Sprint and It was just OK. I just removed it and went back to not using it.

I've been using it for a looong time..

the benefits are number portability from the sprint device to any computer logged on to gmail; I can sms, make & receive calls (but won't do mms :'( )

my nexus 5 doesn't do the IMS wifi & lte carrier thingy, but with the integration, it matters not, that number will make & receive calls via ither data channel thru hangouts, with clarity..

I use Google Voice to make my multiple gadgets all ring at once when I get a phone call or text (laptop, my other non-Sprint phone). It's not useful all the time but in a couple of instances, it's a nice option. For instance, I might be on the front porch with my laptop with the phone being charged inside the bedroom. When someone calls me, I answer the call through my laptop.
