No data limits 'for now' but they likely will some day even with 4G. Though I'd expect 4g caps to be comparable to cable industry, not 3G.

He really can't promise never. But I don't see how you can say they likely will? There is no indication and wih the history of trying to undercut the big two so they can get business I don't think they can afford to. Maybe offer a tiered strategy but keep unlimited plans in would be fine. That may even be a great idea for them.

I cannot say 100% for certain that same CEO will be with Sprint 2 years down the road. I would rather a statement like that, honest, then a load of bull just to make you feel warm and fuzzy.

They are technically in a position to deliver on this unlike other carriers...

- For 4G, they have more spectrum than all other carriers, about 100Mhz per market compared to 25Mhz for ATT/VZW 4G spectrum. This allows delivering more data capacity. Sprint/Clear could do both WiMAX/LTE and still have more capacity than other carriers.

- For 3G, Sprint has more sites and less users. A better user/site ratio means less load on each tower. Even if Sprint grows to 60 million users, which would take many years, they'll likely still have a better user/site ratio than ATT/VZW. Because of 1900Mhz spectrum, they have to have more sites.

If they eventually have caps - and they probably will someday - it will likely be better than their competitors. Verizon has already said their 4G will have data 'buckets' when it releases end of year. Sprint/Clear will continue to do unlimited for as long as they can and if they add caps to 4G, it will be comparable to cable industry, not 3G industry.
