Sprint Galaxy S3 - MHA-HDMI cord-- Plug in and my Cell Signal drops?

When I plug in my mha-HDMI CORD, my cellular signal virtually goes away. It will drop my 4g signal to 1 bar of 3g or less. I have no access to wifi and must use mobile data. Cord works fine and I get picture/sound.
