Sprint Galaxy S3 won't turn on

I went to turn my phone off when I was on it and the screen froze then went black. I then tried to turn it back on but it stayed black. All it has done since is turn on only after the battery has been taken out and put back in and it only goes to the samsung screen or galaxy s3 screen at best. It is not a battery problem or charging problem, I have already tested these.

No, but I tested a battery from another new s3

Can you get into Download Mode by pressing power volume down and home all at the same time?
