Sprint Hero from Best Buy

Just wondering if any one has been able to upgrade to the Hero at Best Buy for the new customer price of $100 and how you did it? I read somewhere about someone doing this, but I was unsucessful in my attempt and I really want this phone. Just can't convince the wife to let me spend $180.

It was in the newspaper ad that yes you can upgrade on SUNDAY 12-13-09 for 99$ Hope this helps.

I am a Family acct with sprint but wanted the $99 price also so here's what I did. I opened a "NEW" account separately in my name for the $69.95 everything data and 450 anytime min plan. Waited two days then called sprints cust service and told them I wanted to combine my "new" line with my family acct and I also wanted to do an ESN swap with the new hero and one of my current family phones. Well they did it no questions asked and now the phone is attached to my family acct now. No waiting 30 days bs. Now I have a new hero on my family plan with only a two day prorated charge.
