Sprint HTC One Domestic Roaming

I will be getting the HTC One from Sprint soon. I've been reading all of the threads about how The Sprint HTC One is a 'Worldphone' and has GSM capabilities. With all of this capability, would the One's domestic roaming capability extend into GSM networks. Kind of like the Blackberry Bold 9930. I'm not trying to put a different carrier's SIM into the device, just wondering if the GSM antennae gives the One the ability to have more roaming coverage. Any response is helpful!

you would need to add a sim. no sim no gsm. sprint does not do gsm. often the world phones lock out us carriers. meaning when you got to canada or Europe you could put a sim in it

Actually, Sprint does use SIM. But for LTE only. I've posted a more precise question over here
