Sprint ID

I've just gotten notified AGAIN to update the Sprint ID "app" spam whatever you want to call it. I had no idea what that little D icon was in my navigation bar and clicked it and it instantly downloaded all the sprint pack apps i previously uninstalled at initial setup! Is there anything i can do to keep it from asking me to download apps i uninstalled from sprint. I am assuming sprint is recognizing i uninstalled them an prompting me to install but that's annoying. I have no need for Nascar or any of those apps. Any ideas on how to stop this? Thanks

Try disabling the app causing that notification to download their "pack" of apps. That may help but not sure.

Thanks for your suggestion. Found it but the "disable" is greyed out, can't get rid of it. That bites! I hate being notified of updates on apps that aren't installed. Boo Sprint!

Without rooting, I'm afraid you're stuck.

A clear of the cache, unchecked show notifications and a force close seemed to help. I was told that as long as I don't reactivate the app it should work. Fingers crossed, so far so good.
