Anyone have any feedback in the Lewisville, Irving, Grapevine, and Dallas area.
Just got Sprint through the best buy deal to try it out, so far the speeds are not very good at all but it's late, and my house isn't a great signal zone for at&t, nor t-mobile and apparently sprint neither.

Basically here's how it looks like in Ookla from best buy to home.
Sprint Iphone 6:
Download/Upload accordingly
2.7mbps 5.49mbps
3.53mbps 5.34mbps
10.46 mbps, 5.89mbps
3.12mbps 1.5mbps
4.96mbps 1.37mbps
7.75mbps 2.4mbps
.09mbps .5mbps (WTF?)
1.72mbps 2.4mbps (home now)
1.26mbps 3.02mbps
Alternates from .58mbps to about 1.3mbps for download. Stays at about 2.2mbps upload

T-mobile
30.62mbps 13.18mbps
1.72mbps 7.66mbps
7.38mbps 9.39mbps
5.62mbps 10.33mbps
5.22mbps 10.07mbps
4.37mbps 8.58mbps
2.8mbps 7.17mbps
Once home it alternates between 1.1mbps to around 1.5mbps download and solid 6mbps upload.

What do you guys think?

I know they are building out the area.
Are you using the S4 or did you get a different device?

Mav.

If low signal is an issue for you at home why not use WiFi calling? That is really what it was designed for.
I left Sprint (was a 13 year loyal customer) and have been with TMO almost 2 years. So with that said im now a TMO fan boy. I am very happy i made the switch. But i know where your coming from. My parents live in Mesquite and while i was there this weekend i found my device going from LTE, to HSDPA+ to even 2G a couple of times. What this means, i still have coverage for voice but data sucked. But hooray for WiFi, right.. LOL.
Anyway, just thought i would mention that as it might help your situation.
I my self live and work in Dallas and am very happy with my coverage.

I bought an Iphone 6 from Best buy for Sprint. LTE was horribly slow.

Problem isn't the voice it's the data. Specially since I had gotten unlimited data.

Meh case closed. Cancelled the line. Service was really bad overall. Couldn't get a single HD music video to load properly without it buffering, or switching to 144p. Gaming was also miserable with constant drops in connection.

The good news is Best buy said I could keep the $200 promotional Gift card for some reason. Either way waiting for Sprint to confirm cancellation.
