"Sprint" Network identifier missing in notification bar

all of the sudden when i pull down the notification bar, the "Sprint" network identifier doesnt show up. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Mine does not show up any more after removing sprint zone good riddance far as i am concerned But it could be you just need a reboot or maybe your roaming...

no im not roaming at all. im on 3G and Wifi. and i just did a factory reset which fixed everything i was having trouble with since updating to Froyo. Now the "Sprint" still wont show up.

Mine no longer shows "Sprint" in the notification panel either. No biggie, I just look at the top of the screen and see Sprint up there. They added a Silent button to the notif panel. Maybe they ran out of room for Sprint being in there.....

Hmm not sure what to say there.. The "Sprint branding" as they call it is apart of the framework in Froyo. Its an identifier of the network your running on. It is not something that can be "turned off" by a setting.

The "Sprint branding" can be changed if your running a custom ROM and it has been modified. If you look in you Settings>About Phone>Status, under Network it should say Sprint. That is also the same Sprint branding that appears on your notification pull down screen.

The only thing I can figure is your PRL needs updating or off Sprints network, roaming.

Actually no, I was agreeing with the OP that "Sprint" no longer shows in the notification panel after updating to EB13, Froyo. It's no biggie to me. It does show Sprint network in Settings/About Phone/Status. I already have the latest PRL 60676 on my Epic, and currently on the Sprint network.......
