Sprint poll found on Sprint's forum

I just came from the Sprint Community site. WebOS is at 87% and Android is at 9%. This could be because there is an article on the front page of PreCentral directing its readers to the poll. I hope Sprint does not base there business plans based on this poll.

the webOS community is very tight - they are a great community and when it comes to web polls they vote in droves! If you are a part of the android community (and a sprint customer) you should go show your support and vote!

It's a straw poll by the Community team. Insert #std_disclaimer.h here.

But we're glad to see your votes!

webOS? Seriously? I've never even played with a weOS phone. Am I missing something?

You should at least play with one. It's a really elegant OS. If they could get better hardware and more app development, it would really be a contender in the mobile market

Five hours later, the poll is 66% webOS and 31% Android. There are over 2 million webOS owners, mostly on Sprint.

I had a Palm Pre for a year and it is a really nice phone. webOS is a really nice mobile OS. It's just too bad there wasn't a lot of support for it. I would consider going back to a webOS phone if there was more software development and they made a phone as nice as the EVO. I have to admit... I am totally hooked on my HTC EVO 4G.

I am not surprised. Palm Pre was a nice phone and WebOS was even better. Too bad they didn't have WebOS on more phones.
