Sprint roaming message

When I check for an update, I get a message telling me I'm roaming and I have to use wifi. I check Signal Check Pro and I'm on Sprint B26, there are no Tmo towers near me in the boonies. All of the towers are Sprint. Has anyone else had this issue? There's probably nothing I can do about it, it's just annoying. On the other hand, when I get back to civilization I'm usually on Tmo towers and have 5G pretty much everywhere I go in populated areas. So there's that.

If you are a Sprint customer check your service before you do what I did. I'm completely covered and roaming is free with my lines.

Go into settings and change your phone to allow it to roam, then the messages will disappear. I have both data and calls setup to where I can roam.

If your service charges you to roam, I'd leave the setting alone and be alerted each time myself. Hope this helps...

My settings are set to roam for voice and data, if I toggle them off I have no service. I'm not getting charged for roaming, it's just annoying to have to use my metered wifi to download any updates. Thanks for the response!

I don't know if the screen shot will show it or not, but there is no signal with roaming off. It's just weird.

That's how my settings are and without the alert. I leave the international alone but domestic I'm like yourself.
Yes, that is weird not to see it roaming. Looks as if you actually have the Volte service going. Hmm, interesting.
I will be in a very sketchy area over the weekend. I will be roaming myself and praying for a good cloud to give me signal. I'll see if my phone tries to aggravate me while trying to roam. My other phone, the Notes 3 and 4 don't. I guess we will see if this one does or not. So far it hasn't though, but the areas I'll be traveling certainly are shady from previous trips. I'll update you...
