sprint roaming partners ?

I am curious to know if there is any advantage to enabling the GSM roaming feature on my Sprint phone if I am in the US? Are all of Sprint's roaming partners CDMA or are some GSM ?

The entire premise of Sprint's partnership in the CCA is shared LTE.
