The update installed smoothly and it seems to have improved the battery life. The phone still seems to stay in "wake" much more than it should, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the battery.

I out an ad on craiglsit for someone that could root my phone for me since tried for a few months to do it myself. I payed him 40 dollars but then i smashed that phone while I was talking to me x gf so I bought an epic 4g touch off of amazon and thought i could use it on straight talk but didnt realize that it was still locked. well since i only payed 115 dollars for it I figured ive got a really good camera/ paperweight unless I figure out how to root it and then unlock it. well it took me 3 weeks to do all that after getting zero help from sprint or straight talk and installed jellybean on it too. heres the bad news...for some reason my phone constantly reboots without me telling it to. ive been told its due to an old battery. I also recently did a complete whipe and factory reset and its helped for the 1st night but soon the reboot issue is back worse than ever...please help before I end up pulling a micheal douglass in "falling down"!

I have this same issue with my Galaxy Nexus. It only happens overnight while charging or as soon as it has been removed from the charger. I hadn't heard the theory of it being battery-related. I wish I had a solution for you, but it sounds like we need to try new batteries.
