I'm a loyal Sprint customer because I'm a data hog and the service isn't too bad in my area. However I'm running on my old S5 and thinking about upgrading to an s7 Edge. Signing a 2 year contact is a possibility since I have no issues staying with Sprint. When I looked at the s7 Edge price two days ago it was $300 with the contact renewal and today it is $350. I thought I'd get a better deal by waiting, shows how much I know! I do have the ability to buy it for under $19 a month on the installment plan over 24 months which equates to a little over $440 for the phone. So that is even more.

Anyone have any advice? This is all through the Sprint site.

I was a loyal Sprint customer for years but the service was not good in my area so I jumped ship to Verizon. But my over 10 year history with Sprint, I found them pretty good about appreciating customer loyalty, and if you call, and spin the roulette wheel and get a good agent, they may give you a better deal than you can see on the web site. Also I would tell them at times I was thinking of leaving, and they transferred me to the customer retension dept , where they have more leeway to offer special deals to keep good customers. Give it a shot, can't hurt.

Good luck!

You can buy the S7 edge unlocked from best buy for $600 right now or $570 from B&H which doesn't charge sales tax or shipping. Might be a better option than being stuck in a contract.

Thank you for the advice, guys!

Don't buy the unlocked version if you like updates. I had the unlocked version for 6 months received 2 updates. With the carriers versions have been updated monthly. I switched to the sprint version don't worry about the bloat most if it can be installed. Sprint has been great with the monthly updates
