Sprint to Verizon, worth it?

Hey all,

Currently I have unlimited data through Sprint for about $50 a month. On average I'd say I probably use a little less than 2GB a month, but I have done more on occasion. Also, I own my device and can easily switch. My device is a Moto X Pure 2015

So my question is. Are there any decently priced plans on Verizon for around 2 maybe 3 GBs a month? I tried looking around on the site and it seemed like it kept trying to run me in circles and not let me see any actual numbers.

Is it worth switching?

I just got one of their new plans called the "medium". 3GB data, UL talk and text. Since I downgraded from the 6GB max plan where I had to pay extra for a message plan I will be saving $35/month. I never go over 2GB data anymore since getting home internet so seemed a good deal to me. My overall total bill is down to $65 from $100., Maybe check that one out.
Of course the better coverage is a "no brainer plus" IMO. I had sprint for a bit but it seemed to not want to switch me to verizon roaming in their weak areas. Which was one of their big coverage selling points at that time. Only certain areas were considered roaming areas.

If you only need unlimited data, then assume liability of the $45 plan ($30 udp +$15 voice). Ymmv of course in AOL, though it is possible.

If you use 2-3 gb on a not so good network, consider that once you get on a good network, that your data usage would rise.

Keep in mind that this plan also includes subsidized phones, though you would have to use loopholes to use it.

I pay no tax in oregon but it's the pretax price.

I just looked it up and the taxes where I am is close to 15%, but my employer has a 19% discount through Verizon. So I guess I would be paying almost $65 afters all of the fees.

I thought you couldn't assume a line with unlimited data anymore. How do you do that?

You can but ymmv.depends on the rep.it isn't officially allowed just like subsidized phones on unlimited data...

So if you bought an unlimited data online, you just need to keep calling Verizon reps until someone allows you to transfer it?
