Sprint to verizon

Really want to make the switch, but sprint wants 320.00 for etf. Last upgrade 9/16/11. Any ways to get out of this or get it knocked down. Sprint service has just went down the tolit.

Go to a Verizon store and see what they can do for you. Maybe they will pay part of your ETF and then you could sell, or trade in your phone for the rest. I just recently switched after 10 1/2 years with Sprint. It's nice to have signal and LTE where I live now. It was sad that I lived 50 miles from Sprint headquarters and barely had a signal.

What phone do you have? Depending on what you have, selling it should cover the ETF.

Verizon won't cover an ETF for another carrier. Maybe they can give you a deal but a contracts a contract. If you're gonna break it, you pay.

If you have been constantly calling sprint customer care and your issues are documented you might be able to get them to release you. If your issues are legit and you have serious problems....ie: constantly dropped calls. Lack of service etc. Call their retention depth and ask. But like anything be polite. Don't be rude. Be professional. If they say no and you want out then you'll have to pay it. Porting your number will end the contract.

Think ill go ahead and make the move. I have a et4g that I could at least get a couple hundred bucks for. The gnex is on Amazon for 50 bucks, also want to take advantage of the double data deal.

Wait for an Amazon penny sale and it'll be like buying a new phone when you pay the early termination. Then sell your Sprint phone too.
