Sprint TV Hdmi out question

Hello!
Ok, first a disclaimer, I've searched and read for the last couple of hours trying to figure out the answer before starting a new thread. I just got the mhl adapter and have a great connection to my tv of my note 2 screen, but when I try to bring up Sprint TV it says that it won't work with the HDMI cable plugged in. Is there any solution to this that you all know of? There used to be apps like fullhdmi and hdmwin that would do the trick, but they are no longer available.

I beleive its set into the app peramiters, kinda like it didn't use to open when Wi-Fi was on
