Sprint tv without installing ID?

I just got the optimus. It was preconfigures with the clean pack. Is there a way of getting things like spryint tv installed without installing all other things?
Has anyone noticed slowness or battery drain by installing the Sprint ID?
Can you uninstall it after?

I havent noticed any slowness from the id's. You can install an id pack with sprint tv and then uninstall the pack and leave the app.

I'd say install the pack and then use root permission to delete apps in the pack you don't want.

Actually I've found I can uninstall apps that come with the ID packs without having to be rooted.

lovely. another reason I like the Optimus: the little bloatware is mostly optional and easy to remove.
