Hi everyone. I'm hoping you guys can help me choose a phone. I'm a Sprint customer and plan on staying a Sprint customer for a long time. I currently have a Rumor 2 and hate it. It's not a bad phone for a dumb phone but I'm a smartphone kinda girl. In the past I've had Blackberry Curves, a Treo 800 Windows phone and Palm platform PDAs. My husband is allowing me to use his Premier upgrade as my line isn't eligible until next July and he will take my Rumor.
I was originally drooling over the Evo but with rumors of it being $299 just isn't in the budget right now, especially because I really don't *need* all of the features it has. As of right now I'm torn between the Blackberry Tour 9630, Samsung Moment and the HTC Hero. I'm a stay at home mom who is going to school to be a medical transcriptionist so I would really like to be able to put my medical dictionary on my phone because the actual hard copy dictionary weighs 9.5 pounds. I've checked and I can get that on the Blackberry and the Android platform. Other features I need are a good calendar with reminders so I can keep track of doctors appointments and such for me, hubby and the kids. I also need a to-do list. A decent camera is somewhat important because I am a shutterbug with kids and love to snap random snapshots. In a couple months I will be dropping our home phone service and we will just be using our cells so battery life is important as well. Battery life is what really has me scared to go Android.
I'm open to any input anyone can offer. I tend to overanalyze things and it messes me up.
