Its simple as the title says... Sprint why can't you be more upfront with the current status of your LTE upgrades?

Why can't we be informed on our monthly bills?

Where is Sprints incentive for me to use my coming upgrade on a new LTE ready phone and continue my service with Sprint?

Just so many unknowns and Sprint isn't talking. You would think Sprint being desperate to hold onto the customers they have MIGHT want to speak up and give a little more insight. Then again I can see if things are panning out as planned you would keep your mouth shut hoping to get as many suckers locked into a new contract as your network keeps getting worse by the day.

All I know is if I was Sprint/Dan Hesse I would be very embarrassed about offering my customers average 3g speeds that aren't much better than what we got on AOL 56k dial up back in the late 1990's...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. After Verizon put the screws to us, we went looking for a new carrier. LTE and price being the two factors. It took me quite some time to come up with any info at all. What little info I have found is all users piecing things together.

This site seems to be on top of rumors and "flashes" of LTE showing up. Sprint 4G Rollout Updates

Pretty much answered your own question. LTE is so far out that there is no point in advertising it. Sure, they're supposed to flip the switch in a handful of areas but that's nothing.

Couple that with the abysmal 3G speeds currently, data is not the best portion of their service to be pushing right now.

I agree.. Problem is what other "perks" to their service does Sprint really have to be pushing? I saw a new Push to Talk commercial from Sprint yesterday advertising " 3 X faster/better " ...

Oh boy !

I guess my problem is I'm coming up for a upgrade on all 3 of my lines. After almost 8 yrs with Sprint I ask, what are you offering to make me stay? Its horrible I have to ask this question because I like Sprint's offering of Android phones like the SGS line, Nexus and EVO's and they still offer bootloaders that can be unlocked verses what Verizon just did to the SGSIII owners..

Unlimited data, sure its a great! But if you don't have a network giving the average consumer the tools required to utilize it what good is it?

At the end of the day I hate to say goodbye to Sprint. They have had decent selection of phones, decent CS, prices & unlimited data but the key component "the network" just continues to disappoint.. :(

My problem is with their Galaxy Nexus, and not giving the drivers to Google so it can be an AOSP device. But I do have a few problems with the lack of LTE and 3G speeds (can't get over 1mbps). So far only reason why I'm sticking with Sprint is the unlimited data.

I was going to stick with Sprint because of the unlimited data, but i cannot use it for the life of me. I am just waiting to find a way out of my contract without having to pay for those ETF's. I am not going to pay for something that i cannot use.
