Sprint wireless and data connection

I'm receiving poor wireless and data connection on my new Galaxy S4. I amd using an Otter Box Defender but I don't see a difference with the case off either.

Have you checked your carrier's coverage in your area? You should try seeing how well other's service is around your area before taking it back if it the phone malfunctioning. Type in your address on sensorly, the coverage checking is usually more accurate than what your carrier claims to have.
